Hi all,
recently I have been invited to a very fun site. For 5 dollars or more, you can buy credit with which you then can buy and sell words and phrases, which ever you like. Companies may advertise on your phrase (for example if you have vanilla milkshake etc.) and you will receive credit for that. Same goes for when someone types the phrase you own into a search engine.
In one day I have made $1. It's not going to make you a millionaire, and it's primarily fun, but you can earn a little bit. also, they give a tenth of their money to charities and you can even add a charity you know via twitter and facebook, so that they will direct a share of their money to the charity of your choice.
To find out more about the site and to register, go to

Cool. I might give this a try. thanks for mentioning it.
NP! You follow me on twitter, so feel free to ask me any questions.
Just to let you guys know that in one week I've made almost $10. I didn't ask them to pay the money out yet because I want to get more first but yeah. $10 just by having some fun and trading your favourite words and phrases, at the same time knowing that you're doing something good and supporting charities, for me that's a win-win situation for everyone. And the site is totally secure, no spam, no ads. BTW, you are not allowed to buy and trade vulgare words though.
Hmmm, I'd be a little wary of stuff like that. Sounds too easy for there not to be some kind of catch.
Well so far I haven't found one. Of course you have to pay some money in first to get tag credits. This is so far the only slight inconvenience, but in the long run you will get all the money back and even more. I'd go and at least check it out.
Anything you have to pay first to get out of money of is most likely a trap. I'd be very careful.
Yeah. I don't join the sites where you have to pay anything, even if they come with a money back guarantee. I really don't trust those things. I'm not saying they're all scams, but usually they are.
I agree with what has been said here. I wouldn't trust that sort of thing, ever.
so for your $10, how much have you paid in so far?
What you have to realise with these kinds of sites is that they are the ones making money, not you. So while you might have made $10 on the phrases you've input, someone else will have put in money and none of their phrases/words will have come up and they won't have made anything. And soon enough their credit will run out and they'll pay in a bit more, or your credit will run out and you'll buy another $5 worth and bingo, you're back to breaking even...
it appears to be a bit like a piramid type site, where the first members in will make more money, but the more people that join, the less chance there will be to make money and the more money the site will make.
And you have to question what kind of data this site is gathering on its members given it is also largely linked to social media such as facebook.
I would steer well clear.
I specially have to be carfull, because I have a social disorder, and mom knows if it's a trap.
I don't either.
Yeah, some of those sites can be scams. I recently ran into a web site where the people who ran it wanted me to pay $100 to get a certain course pamphlet or something like that so that I would be able to post links onto a certain web site and make about $100,000 a year. It turned out to be a scam. So yeah, like Claire and everyone else said, just be careful with websites like that.
You don't need a whole course just to post links, if that's really all that is. It's ridiculous. In fact, if all you're doing is posting links, and that's honestly all there is to it, you shouldn't have to invest *any* money into it. I've seen plenty of so-called "opportunities" like that.
that ht mail thing wasn't a scam though. it was from a user who was using it to advacate for the blind. All she's doing is seeing who should get their asses sued for violating the ADA.
